You are allowed to put the phone down.
For two hours, there is no inbox, no client to follow up with, no project deadline sitting in the back of your mind. Just you, a glass in hand, flowers on the table, and the rare and radical act of making something for the joy of making it.
On May 20th, local artist Cassie Adams joins us at Raleigh Workup for Art Making Happy Hour — an intimate creative gathering designed for women who spend their days building, designing, and delivering for everyone else. This one is for you.
Cassie will lead the group through a relaxed, no-experience-needed floral painting and collage session — think loose brushstrokes, torn paper, blooms in every color, and zero pressure to produce anything "perfect." You'll leave with something beautiful you made with your own hands, and a couple of hours of breathing room you didn't know you needed.
What to expect:
A welcoming, unhurried evening with other women entrepreneurs and creative professionals
Guided floral painting led by Cassie Adams
All materials provided — just show up
Drinks to set the mood
Good conversation, easy laughter, and a little room to just be
Tickets are $40 and space is limited. This is a small, intentional gathering — not a packed auditorium. Reserve your spot before it fills.
